Phillips County Speedway (PCR) Steps up with major changes for 2012
BST Promotions is excited to announce that we have been contracted by Phillips County Speedway for the 2012 Season! With that we are bringing lots of great changes to Holyoke, Colorado! To start; Phillips County Raceway (PCR) will now be racing every other Friday Night Beginning May 4th at 7:30pm! We will also be holding a Special Independence Day Race on Wednesday July 4th! (2012 PCR Schedule)
IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stocks and Hobbies will be running at every race. In addition, we will be hosting a special Division at every race including, Late Models, Midgets, Lightning Sprints and Dwarfs.
We are hoping that this change will make it easier for the racers and increase our car counts as well as providing the best possible track conditions. It also allow us to work in conjunction with I-76 Speedway, Lamar Speedway, Sherman County Speedway, Lincoln County Speedway allowing you to race at PCR on Friday Nights and then again on Saturday Nights.
In Addition, PCR has partnered up with Budweiser and Monster Energy Drinks and will have a Beer Garden Available for the Spectators in the Grand Stands. We believe this change will attract more fans to the stands for our TGIF Racing Events!
NEW RACING SURFACE
But most importantly, there is a brand new racing surface! Over 80 Loads of Dirt has been laid down and county crews are hard at work to transform the old dusty, sandy, rough track into a bad fast, smooth, wide, zero sand, rock free, semi banked 3/8 mile. This is bound in make PCR one of the finest and fastest Race Tracks in Region.
We hope that both racers and Fans will come out and see all of the great changes and additions for themselves making the 2012 Racing Season one for the History Books! Be there!
